The Humanities program is built around the examination of universal

At each grade, students in the Humanities program study English, Reading, and Social Studies. Students have their Humanities class for 3 periods a day. Each grade has a different historical focus.
6th grade: World History and Cultures
7th grade: Texas History
8th grade: American History
Summer Reading List
Humanities Students for the 2015-2016 school year need to read 5 books over the summer from the following list of books. They will need to turn in a reading log at the start of the year to their Humanities teacher. Students who need to read 5 books include include all students who will be in Humanities during the 2015-2016 school year: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
